TOURNAMENT RULES

Read this before your squad steps on the court.

01 / IN-GAME RULES

GAME FORMAT

• Two 20-minute halves with a running clock.

— The last two minutes use a stop clock when the score is within ten points.

— Three timeouts per game. Unused timeouts do not carry into overtime.

— Single bonus begins at seven team fouls. Double bonus begins at ten team fouls in a half.

— One timeout is awarded in overtime.

— No shot clock.

— Overtime is two minutes. A third overtime is sudden death.

• Ten-second backcourt violation is in effect for both genders.

• Players foul out after six personal fouls.

— Teams may receive technical fouls for unsportsmanlike distractions caused by players, spectators, or coaches, as ruled by tournament officials.

— An ejected player, coach, or spectator may be suspended for the next game at the tournament director’s discretion.

TIE-BREAKER RULES

• Head-to-head ties are determined by head-to-head results.

• Three-way ties are determined by point differentials in games played against each other.

• Point differential is capped at ±15 points per game.

• If point differential cannot decide a winner, points allowed determines the winner.
